An Ode for the Damned
Coffee-induced cacophonies
Can cause such cruel catastrophes,
Luring the pious off their knees-
Exalting their capacities.
“Nothing can get this sin off me”
Reads the epitaph etched upon
This albatross-decked medallion.
For, salvation could never be;
When medals make life’s denouement
Patent- by keeping Sin battalion.
